Shawn Achor spent twelve years at Harvard University [winning more than a dozen distinguished teaching awards] and is one of the world’s leading experts on the connection between happiness and success.

His research on mindset made the cover of Harvard Business Review, his TED Talk is one of the most popular of all time with over 32.7 million views, and his lecture airing on PBS has been seen by millions. Shawn is the author of New York Times best-selling books The Happiness Advantage and Big Potential as well as his immensely popular parable, The Orange Frog.

In particular, Shawn Achor talks about fostering positive leadership in periods of significant change, training your brain to development new positive habits, and the benefits of social support in sustaining happiness and well-being. His research and travels now extend to over 50 countries including nearly half the Fortune 100, as well as places like the Pentagon, impoverished schools in Africa, and the White House. It also includes substantial research in healthcare and education and the idea of “creating resilient cultures” where resource depletion, compulsory performance requirements and high stress levels create near industrywide angst.

His findings have been published in the top psychology journal for work he did at UBS in partnership with Yale University to transform how stress impacts the body, and he did a two-hour interview with Oprah at her house to discuss his mission to bring positive psychology to the world.

For over two decades, the principles of International Thought Leader Network (ITLN) have worked on the forefront of organizational advancement in collaboration with the world’s most distinguished thought leaders to deliver big ideas and best practices to a global workforce.

Today, ITLN and Achor have created the largest and most successful positive psychology training for organizations and educators in the world. This work impacts every dimension of human potential performance, intelligence, creativity, leadership ability and health – in an increasingly interconnected world where our biggest potential lies in our ability to influence others.
